There's no way I'd travel to half of the places you went to, particularly via some of the more dangerous driving routes :-)

I hope to see you in Vegas soon!BWoPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02934781459474787598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560459146364075317.post-3408254251030835502009-12-22T14:59:41.012-05:002009-12-22T14:59:41.012-05:00Thx for the comments guys.
ASG - Skipping the ...Thx for the comments guys.

ASG - Skipping the 'hotel' reservations usually isn't too bad of a hit because I use Hotels.Com and I can cancel most rooms without penalty if I give them 36 hours notice. Also, I generally book myself into $45/night rooms, so even if I want to change my itinerary at the last minute, it's not too bad. Obviously, some flexibility was needed for this trip!Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02731332376224986570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560459146364075317.post-68182360513644923022009-12-22T14:20:04.030-05:002009-12-22T14:20:04.030-05:00Not bad at all. The only reason I asked was your TR started with a lot of "I skipped these hotel reservations and stayed here instead" and had a canceled flight in there.ASGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01519866433166210544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560459146364075317.post-88758073194953479982009-12-22T13:31:58.304-05:002009-12-22T13:31:58.304-05:00Terrific report, thanks for sharing!Terrific report, thanks for sharing!Memphis MOJOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12653631347560307425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560459146364075317.post-67242939360206502992009-12-22T11:27:31.042-05:002009-12-22T11:27:31.042-05:00Great trip report! You're right about El Centro: it has the highest unemployment rate in the nation, and is a pretty dangerous area. I'm going to Monterrey, CA (San Jose area) in January; I plan on scouting out Mortimer's Card Room, Banker's Casino and the Marina Club... will let you know the feel of those places when I get there. The Poker Meisterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18289059101454598371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3560459146364075317.post-27790789945123849992009-12-22T10:55:16.455-05:002009-12-22T10:55:16.455-05:00No, the profit is indicative of my poker playing o...No, the profit is indicative of my poker playing only, not my overall profit/loss.
