It's going to be the bestest Christmas ever!
My spectacular Vegas trip is booked (at least the airfare and the car rental) for Dec. 21st through January 1st. New Year's in Vegas promises to be da bomb!

where yoou staying you get a good deal
I haven't booked a hotel yet. I'm waiting to see who's coming and where they're staying so maybe I can split a room. The room rates at the Stratosphere are very reasonable for very good rooms, but New Year's weekend is expensive wherever you go. I'm considering splitting up the trip: Stratosphere until Friday before New Year's and then the Wild West for New Year's. Grungy and dingy, but relatively cheap for that weekend and still close to the strip. I'm low maintenance that way. :-p
